Avelyn is fond of Fren, impressed with his musical ability and his care for those around him. During Bloomfest, however, Lord Garren Maltheus caught her eye, causing her heart to wander. She continually pushed Fren to pursue greatness and help get her out of Straysong to see the world, but Fren had other plans, and so she followed Lord Garren afterward.
