Count Soren

Count Soren is a member of the Norik nobility, though unlike the others, he keeps to himself and his own affairs, avoiding the petty squabbles of court. He has a profound sense of wisdom and scholarship, and through this, stumbled up a trail in an ancient text, leading to the discovery of the nobles' conspiracy against the commoners and the return of the Seulivar and the three heroes.

When Laden takes control of Norik and becomes king, he latches onto Soren as a source of guidance and assurance. Soren helps him along at first, finding himself with no other choice and also admiring Laden as a remainder of... Upon learning of Lady Sulta, however, he determines to stop Laden and somehow rid the world of the Seulivar again, using his knight to raise an army from the peasantry before leaving himself for Aldane, to seek help from the king, the Keepers, and potentially, the three heroes themselves.
