Laden

Antagonist. True heir to the throne of Aldane. Son of King Basran and Queen Rucella. Half brother of Fren. Ancient Hero reborn, and savior of the world.

Laden (19) was taken as an infant from the palace in the middle of the night and given to a family in a small village in the north of Norik. During his eighth year, his village was attacked in the middle of the night by a band of brigands posing as soldiers of King Basran of Aldane. The only survivor at the end of the attack, he was approached by Lady Sulta of the Seulivar, his original captor. He took him under her wing, eventually initiating him into her band of mercenaries. Upon taking command at 19, Laden set out to conquer all of Norik, before moving to Aldane and seeking his revenge by destroying the royal family, and most importantly, King Basran.

Laden has a natural ability to Shadow Weave. Though unaware, he also can Song Weave and Light Weave. He is currently under the influence of Lady Sulta's mystical Shadow Weaving abilities.
